Safe, Efficient, Inviting
These terms apply to a group of articles of our actual issue. In the first article, we invite you to an excursion into the world of cinema. There are however lots of parallels to theatre. Internationally known director Martin Scorsese has celebrated his 70th birthday. On this occasion, he is honored with a big exhibition on his life and achievement. The first presentation of this kind world wide is shown at the Museum for Film and TV in Berlin.
With our report about a rickyard in the south of Paris, ”la Briqueterie“, we invite you to France. The ancient industrial plant was transformed into a dance center. The spaces for the dancers and the audience are airy and light. Besides this, a spezial dance floor was installed. It reduces the risk of accidents significantly. The secret: It consists of tennis balls cut in half.
